who we are

A designer wanting to see a different narrative, perspective, and truthfully, ourselves in the western creative world.

The magazine’s design philosophy is based around the concept of fragmentation and the imperfect. Fragmentation of memories, experiences, people, places, and things. Not to be confused with something negative—fragmentation here represents taking those pieces to build something new—to break the bounds placed on us. Imperfection comes from a place of humanness. It creates a space of openness and communication. Just because something is perfect, doesn’t mean it can communicate as clearly as something imperfect.
